A recommendation of the Eighteenth Meeting of the National Committee for the Development of Emergency Medicine concerning the preparation of a mechanism for brain stroke

           Asharqia Chamber presents its greetings and informs you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. 152) date 15/1 / 1439, and referred to the letter of the Saudi Health Council No. (2-13744) date (26/12/1438), referred to the recommendation of the Eighteenth Meeting of the National Committee for the Development of Emergency Medicine.
     Where the Saudi Health Council wants to provide them with the plan to deal with acute stroke and connect all emergency departments and emergency teams in hospitals qualified to deal with these cases, including the following:

    The readiness of your sector's institutions to deal with strokes.
    Approximate number of acute stroke patients per year.
    Number of nerve counselors specializing in strokes.
    Number of neurosurgery consultants.
    Provide 24-hour magnetic resonance imaging (7/24) for patients with acute strokes.

     Therefore, medical facilities in the health sector should prepare the plan and mechanism, provided that the Council with the importance of e-mail malanazi@csc.org.sa, and as soon as possible.
